January Monthly Report

Monthly Report

“You’re never beaten until you admit it.”General George S. Patton, Jr

It’s been an entertaining start of the year for the Allied Airborne Army in Heroes and Generals. The holidays are past us and our numbers are back up to full strength. The Allies did an amazing job this past month, the Axis ran out of tissues and the Timoshenko Build will be release soon which will include the Russian Faction. More on the Russian Faction can be found here on our forum post.

Our French comrades in the Allied Airborne Army stepped up this past month in Wars 180 and 181 fighting off hords of MG-42 attacks as they held possible the least desirable (but critical) sector of the Allied front line. They discouraged the Axis and as shown in Divishua’s MG-42 demonstration video, turn the tides on the invading Axis forcing them to find a new sector to fight. And for their efforts, we honor our French Allied Airborne Army members.

Member Report

Distinguished Service Cross – Awarded exceptional command over a very difficult sector. They contributed their time, Assault Teams and lead their team through battles that in the past have broke some of the strongest units. They kept their comrades’ morale high and in the end became a better team.

Distinguished Service Medal – Our French comrades have distinguished themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to the Allies and our community by accepting a great responsibility in a rather difficult sector of the front line.

Combat Report

The month started off with War 177 which last 20 server days (10 real days) and ended in an Axis victory. War 178 was quick only lasting a day as the Allies conquered the map in a few hours. The Axis answered back in War 179 which was a quick war as well only last 6 server days. War 180 and 181 were both much longer wars with 181 going for 29 days. There was a lot of back and forth struggles between both factions and eventually the Allies prevailed in both wars. War 182 lasted a weekend also going to the Allies.

We are currently fighting war 183 which began with a QQ session from the Axis in what is currently a rather well balanced game.

Before BlackViper34 passed away, his family set up the George Spiros Jr. Memorial Hockey Scholarship as a non profit organization designed to help young aspiring hockey players that can’t otherwise afford to play. We encourage you to donate as a way to help celebrate his life.
