July’s Monthly Report

Monthly Report

““People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”George Orwell

July has been a quiet month around the Allied Airborne Army but there are a couple reasons for this. First, it’s Summertime!! Many players got off the computer, gone on vacation, or just simply enjoying the weather while there is a chance too. That’s a good thing and it should be embraced! Second is the Jefferson Build for Heores and Generals. Jefferson hit and with it, a flood of changes and bugs which is adding some frustration to the game’s player base. “Hey look! It’s nice outside!” See how this works.

With that said, let’s jump into the combat report.

Combat Report
Jefferson has really slowed the Wars down to a damn near crawl frustrating both the Allied and the Axis factions. The Front line progress is limited and it is really getting decided by auto-resolve. Thus, the faction that has more ATs will slowly win… it’s painful to watch on some levels. At the moment, this is working to benefit the Axis since they can’t seem to beat the Allies on the battlefield. Fighter Spamming and Auto-resolve is their only alternative to winning a war.

It’s not all doom-&-gloom though, they did introduce a squad system for teamwork, whistling to get a player’s attention, and an anti-grieving system to prevent players for team killing or wasting supplies on purpose – which the Axis trolls have mastered to a tee. Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot – so already they are finding ways around it.

The Developers are listening too the frustration, some of them are on vacation themselves, but they are listening and we can expect changes and upgrades to many of the new systems they implemented. Expect the game and our community to pick up in towards the end of August.

Members Report
We have been receiving several new recruits even during this down time. If you are interested in joining the Allied Airborne Army, we encourage you to fill out an Enlistment Application. You must be 21 and older, able to use TeamSpeak (with a working mic) and have the ability to act mature and allow others to do the same. Again, don’t expect too much activity until the end of August.

Membership into the AAA differs from that of Allied HQ (some people seem to be getting this confused). They are separate! FYI for those that are looking for a backdoor into HQ. HQ members will accept you based on your performance among the Allied faction and Allied Task Force. The AAA will accept you after a month of active participation in the AAA and with AAA members.

Community Report
After stating the difference between Allied HQ and the Allied Airborne Army, we will say that we do co-exist and work directly with each other. We encourage all Allies to come together and find harmony through teamwork. Whether you are a clan or a lone-wolf, if you struggle in Heroes and Generals, then get on board with us! Talk to the Allied High Command, get on TS and start helping to make the Allied faction a cohesive army! Every HQ and AAA member knows exactly what it takes to put a hurting on the Axis! A few more boots up their ass sure won’t bother us any!
