March Monthly Report

Monthly Report: March

With march down, spring and summer around the corner, and Allied Airborne Army successfully dropped into enemy territory. We stand ready to combat our challengers here in April.. “March comes in like a lion, and out like a lamb.” This quote is so true with our minor hiccups that occurred at the beginning of the month. All in all, we came out stronger, more willing and more organized than ever before. The AAA troop morale is high and looking forward to the next jump this month. Our salty commanders have organized their squads and injected them with fresh new tactics for the battlefield. Our new recruits are just as eager to taste the blood of battle and soon they will with April’s scheduled drops. The war is far from over and the battles are being fought everyday.

1) |CPT |AAA| BlackViper34: Distinguished Service Medal (DSM) – in recognition for literally YEARS of service to the AAA as server admin, treasurer, clan leader, stats monkey, and all-around good guy.

2) PVT |AAA|LJ: Bronze Star: for scoring the most events (bomb plant/defuse, pickups and captures) per round played during the stats period ending on March 2, 2004.

3) TSG |AAA| 506 Hammers: Bronze Star: for scoring the most kills per round played during the stats period ending on March 2, 2004.

4) SGT |AAA| 506 TheSheriff: Bronze Star: Technically, Viper had the best Kills to Deaths ratio for the last stats period. However, if we give Viper a Distinguished Service Medal (DSM) for NON-COMBAT duty, Sheriff receives the Bronze Star for his K/D ratio.

5) 1LT |AAA| 1CAN BMW: Distinguished Service Medal (DSM): Beamer has been the driving force behind the quality of our server, both in terms of maintaining the TS server, seeking out new maps and in keeping the game clean by keeping the lamers and cheater out. I know that if BMW wasn’t doing what he does, we wouldn’t have a server worth paying

6) 2LT |AAA| 325th Izzy: Distinguished Service Medal (DSM): Izzy has more or less single-highhandedly handled recruiting since Deadstick pawned it off on him back in 2002.

ClanBase post:

Instead of doing a “this month in history” section of the monthly report. We decided to go with our opponents responds from ClanBase. We like to thank each and every clan that we have played that has been nothing but great, fair competition.
Thank you all for your support,

By TAC_Spudster (TAC_Tactical Allied Command), 26 February 2004

Excellent game AAA, you guys that played were fantastic sports, and obviously very dedicated and honorable members of the AAA clan.

All together the match was a decent match just we(ss rangers) were not prepared, but despite that in the first two rounds(the bridge) we kicked some A**, but in the second round one played had to leave emergency, so we both agreed fo the ss rangers to play with 5-6, then in the last two rounds on The Hunt was had are A**s handed to us in pieces, do to numbers and the type of map. All together AAA is a good clan could use a little work on server control and tactics. But other than that they are a good clan and very polite, and both sides followed the rules. It was an awesome match and |AAA| has always been a great clan to play. Hopefully next time they will let us have a tie breaker lol!!!

By DrkDragon (Big Red One), 9 February 2003
First off, I must give my hats off to the extremely skilled players of AAA. Even though they were shorthanded one. They gave us a run for our money. The matches were close every time, and who knows how it would have turned out had they had an extra man. Perhaps the results would be different. I can say that this isa top class clan with great sportsmanship and skill. It’s always a pleasure playing these guys, and we’d be honored to do it again.

Great game AAA

By (5th)2nd Lt.Frank Burns (5th Division), 16 January 2003
Great match guys! These guys are definitely a class act and very well mannered. The score doesn’t really show how much of a fight these guys put up. A lot of the rounds ended with either a 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 situation. Again, these guys are a great bunch of guys and we would definitely play them again. Good luck in your future matches.

By [SS Rangers]CUJO ([SS Rangers]), 13 January 2003
